What’s a book or movie that genuinely scared you?

Without hesitation, The Exorcist. That movie has traumatized me ever since I first watched it, especially the scene where Regan comes crawling backward down the stairs like some kind of human spider. I can handle most horror movies, but that scene planted itself in my brain and never left.

The ridiculous part is that I actually bought the movie on Apple. Why would I buy a movie that scares me so badly? I honestly have no idea. Now, whenever I scroll through my movies looking for something to watch, I speed up when I know that cover with her face is about to appear. To this day, I still look away so I don’t have to see it.

That’s how badly The Exorcist affected me. I don’t even have to watch the movie. Apparently, the cover is enough. 😂
